G35 Budget Build Breakdown: We found out that the car does indeed run and drive, which is a huge plus. However, after getting the car on the lift for the first time, we were able to see where most of the problems stem from. The car had inconsistent steering and a massive wet spot on the undershroud. Is it surprising? No, but it does mean we are going to have to go through and replace all the blown-out suspension bits and fix all the leaks.

The goal is the fix all these simple odd end jobs so we have a mechanically reliable car (if possible 😂) Then we want to get it on the dyno to collect some data before we actually start installing all the performance mods. That way we are able to see what type of HP gain we get out of a complete bolt on performance upgrade (intake, y-pipe, exhaust, plenum spacer,). We chose these upgrades as they seem to be the most popular for the VQ platform.
