In South of Midnight, players assume the role of Hazel, a young woman from the small town of Prospero who becomes a Weaver after a devastating hurricane strikes her home. As a Weaver, Hazel possesses the magical ability to mend broken bonds and spirits, using her powers to navigate and interact with the world around her.

The narrative follows Hazel on a journey through a macabre and fantastical landscape, where she encounters and must confront creatures from Southern folklore.
