I picked up the Berried to Death from Eighty-Three Brewery in Akron Ohio while on a little brewery road trip. I bought this as part of a mixed 4 pack and unfortunately do no remember what I paid for it. This 7.5% Gose was brewed with real raspberries, Blackberries and Sea Salt. The beer poured out a crazy bright red color with a big cherry colored head that dissipated very quickly. Go visit a local brewery! The nose was full of tart raspberries and almost a lactose quality to the scent. The beer was tart. It was very tart. The flavors were full of fresh blackberries and raspberries with a hint of salt. Although I would have liked the fresh fruit flavors to be as strong as the tartness was, it was still absolutely delicious. The beer hid the alcohol very well and this is another beer that would catch up to you if you sessioned a few and didn't realize the alcohol content.
