Professor Neera Chandhoke is a Professor in the Department of Political Science and the Director of the Developing Countries Research Centre, at the University of Delhi. She has been Visiting Fellow at Luiss University in Rome and at London School of Economics and Political Science.

Prof. Chandhoke has published widely on civil society and political theory and she is on the editorial boards of a number of international journals. Her research interests include political theory, history of western political thought, secularism, civil society and Indian politics.

In this interview for United Nations University Conversation Series on Global Justice, Prof. Chandhoke discusses the rights of minority religious groups, secularism and global justice.
