The City of Bowling Green is underlain by predominately limestone bedrock, resulting in a karstic landscape that features numerous caves and sinkholes. Bowling Green is almost entirely reliant on Class V Stormwater Injection Wells to drain stormwater runoff from the surface into these underground karst aquifers. This 360° video was shot using a consumer-grade video capturing device lowered into the underground cave systems beneath Bowling Green. The purpose of this video is for inspecting the condition and efficacy of the city's stormwater drainage infrastructure.
