The second day of the two-day Punjab Vidhan Sabha session began here on Thursday with the Opposition parties opposing the government resolution to adjourn the session sine die today.
The proposal moved by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Brahm Mohindra immediately drew sharp reactions from the Opposition benches, with both Shiromani Akali Dal and AAP MLAs saying that the important issues of DAP shortage and other farmer issues needed to be debated.

Speaker Rana KP Singh said it is a special session called to hold discussion on the farm laws and other issues could not be discussed. He asked the Opposition to stick to the agenda.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
