Six years ago, I stood on the historic battlefield of Gettysburg, sharing my walkaway story. Today, I’m revisiting that journey—a journey of walking away from the Democratic Party and embracing the values I now know are truly American. Just as the Confederates held Seminary Ridge on the left, I was once firmly planted in beliefs that I thought were right. But 9/11 changed everything for me. Watching my party blame America for the attacks was a turning point. I realized I needed to stand with those who fight for our country, not tear it down.

In this video, I’ll take you through the key moments that shaped my transformation, from Seminary Ridge to Cemetery Ridge—the turning point where I embraced conservative values, just like the Union soldiers who defended liberty at Gettysburg.
