Getting Started with CodeLab

This video details how to register and login to CodeLab, the web-based programming learning software we will be using.

In this video I’ll show you how to get started with CodeLab, the web based programming learning software we’ll be using for our course.

Getting Started involves registering and logging in.

To register,

REGISTRATION (FOR STUDENTS):
1) Go to www.tcgo1.com OR www.tcgo2.com
2) Click "Register for CodeLab"

Enter your email and confirm you are not a robot.
Then Click submit.



Then check your email and follow the verification link to confirm your account.

Then fill out the form with your First and last name, desirwd password, datr of birth, country, country, state, and university!
And click submit.
When prompted for the section access code, enter COLO-25062-HMFS-30

Quick at of course
Select the first option I'm in a course that uses codelab
Enter your email address to begin the registration process.




And click next

This section access code is COLO-25062-HMFS-30

3) When prompted, enter the following Section Access Code:
COLO-25062-HMFS-30

To login,

From there, you can view and begin the Week 1 Exercises. To complete an exercise, enter your answer and click submit. The first exercise tells us to type in (18+42)/2. I’ll type that in and click submit.

After submtiting, you can see the results of your work. Feel free to submit and resubmit any of the exercises as many times as you need.

To return to the login page in the future,
1) Go to www.tcgo1.com OR www.tcgo2.com
2) Click "Login to CodeLab".

And use the username and password you chose during registration.
