This Wednesday ( 7 July) we went Fb LIVE in conversation with Dr. Krithiga M., discussing Opportunities in Dental Research & how to get your research funded. Dr. Krithiga has done her MDS & PhD in pediatric dentistry. She is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher
Education & Research, Chennai. She is the First dentist in the country to receive the Early Career Fellowship award and research grant of 1,02,74,110/- from the Wellcome Trust, UK. They have also got Research grant of 10000/- for Chancellor’s Summer Research Fellowship in 2020. She is the part of First dental team in India to receive the Paul P Taylor Award from the American Academyof Pediatric Dentistry for the best original research in 2020. Also she has got multiple awards from Famdent, Indian Dental Diva Awards for her contribution as an academician and paediatric dentist. She is today joining us to discuss her journey of getting into research & how did they plan their project to get funded.
