British Airways Boeing 767-300(ER) | London Heathrow to Amsterdam Schiphol *Full Flight*

PENULTIMATE DAY of service for G-BNWZ!

On board one of the last 5 British airways 767-336(ER)s for this flight from London Heathrow LHR to Amsterdam Schipol AMS. Short 50 minute hop to Amsterdam for the chance to travel on the BA 767 for the last time. Sat in 9F so had the very comfortable old BA seats and the sound of the RR RB.211 on take off are gorgeous. Fantastic flight! Great crew let us in the flight deck at the end and the captain explained that his return flight back to London was his last after 20 Years on the aircraft. He will now fly the 787 instead. As far as I can tell this aircraft (G-BNWZ) has not flown since the 29th so I presume it has been withdrawn from service, which fits with the captain saying it would be removed by the end of October. Really enjoyed travelling on a wide body on such a short route, she will be sadly missed.
