In September of 2022 Jeff and Ellen completed a 10-day canoe trip through Wabakimi Provincial Park in Ontario Canada. Major waterways included Little Caribou and Caribou Lakes, the Caribou River, Smoothrock Lake, the Berg River, Whitewater Lake, Grayson Lake and Grayson River, the Palisade River, and Burntrock Lake. They travelled generally northwest over 96 miles which included 33 portages totaling 4.2 miles one-way. A float plane returned them to Wabakimi Canoe Outfitters on Mattice Lake near Armstrong Station.
