A long time favorite of mine, they have so many incredible albums. The Unforgettable Fire though, stood out from most of the others. There's something about what Brian Eno/Daniel Lanois brought to their sound that was magical.

I got to see U2 on this tour when they played in Hawaii in 1985. They had been in Hawaii for the War tour a couple of years earlier. After Joshua tree came out, the band got so huge that a stop in Hawaii just wasn't in the cards. They wouldn't return to Hawaii for almost 12 years when they brought the Vertigo tour here in December of 2006. They are awesome live.
