It goes without saying that the North series from Fractal Design have seen some of our favourite build aesthetics thanks to that tasteful wooden front panel combined with modern bold styling. The Momentum Edition remains unchanged physically, with the primary differences being a Dark Oak front panel with darkened alloy accents and not to mention three included Momentum 12 front intake fans.

Whilst the changes are subtle, they make all the difference aesthetically - especially those not fully vibing the typical wood mood. Those LCP blades on the front Momentum 12 intake fans run quietly too, with some very high airflow performance whilst keeping noise levels low.

Did we want to see a North refresh in 2026? I'm not sure.... There's a lot to be said for keeping a design the same when it works so well. The Momentum Edition brings a blackout vibe to the table which is awesome to see and I hope this one remains for this year!
