In this tutorial, I (a professional pilot) explain how to do an RNAV GPS approach in the Citation Longitude on Microsoft Flight Simulator. In this video I will show you how to do a RNAV GPS approach from start to finish in the Longitude and explain each step. Setting up the GPS approach, intercepting the course, and arming the APPROACH button on the auto pilot panel (the panel is really called the flight director control panel) are the toughest parts. The rest is easy and made easier in my explanation. I also show the steps of setting up the approach in the FMS/FMC. The point of this video is to be able to do an approach and landing after watching it.

This the RNAV GPS Y to runway 10L at Port Columbus/John Glenn International Airport in Columbus, Ohio (KCMH). This approach takes us down to LPV minimums and explains how we can go below minimums safely with an exception.
