Building Charles - Part 16 - Axles and Connecting Rods

I finished the Axles, made the Connecting Rods, slide bar pivot pins, crank pins, and spacers. Valve gear, next year! This is my live steam Penrhyn Quarry Railway Charles 0-4-0 build in 1/12th scale using Keith Bucklitch's "Charles" 5/8" scale plans scaled up; scaling is easy, just divide the original imperial dimension by 0.625 and that gives the 1/12th scale dimension. I'm working on the live diesel loco at the moment, doing some mods
