On April 12th, Deb and I celebrated our 30th anniversary. Deb booked this lovely little cabin secluded in the woods in the mountains in Georgia. It was so nice, we wanted to share a little bit about the area and the place we stayed. I hope you enjoy our little trip and ruminations on the joys of marriage.
We stayed at Forrest Hills Resort, just outside of Dahlonega, GA. We are not affiliated with them but Deb and I have now been back with the Grandkids since going up in April on our Anniversary. We like the rustic nature of the place, good service, clean and comfortable (maybe one of the most comfortable beds, I have ever slept in), and the peacefulness of the area.

Join us on our journey as we continue to rebuild, refit and prepare our Formosa 51 Sailboat for our continued cruising journey. We have always loved the Formosa, bought one (on a bit of a whim) late in 2014, moved aboard this one right away and started to do our refit while living board.
