Ph.D Student Alleges Unreasonable Expulsion From IIST

T'puram: A research student has complained that he was unreasonably expelled from the Indian Institute of Space Technology in Valiyamala. The student, Hari Krishnan M S, was pursuing his Ph.D in Humanities at the institution. Terming his expulsion as an act of vengeance, Hari Krishnan said he had opposed the institution's move to charge fee without adhering to the UGC guidelines. Meanwhile, IIST authorities said the action was initiated after they found that the student has secured admission in two colleges simultaneously.
