Wild Edible Plants From Dirt To Plate By John Kallas - Book Review

Описание к видео Wild Edible Plants From Dirt To Plate By John Kallas - Book Review

Today I review one of the best books on the subject of edible plants. A book that is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the plants it covers. While it may only cover 15 plants, the depth at which it covers them is almost unmatched in the subject.

Wild Edible Plants From Dirt To Plate by John Kallas covers plants that you will most likely find in your yard, and it does so showing you the plants from beginning to end of their life cycle. After that he gives detailed explanations on how to harvest them and follows each plant up with a couple basic recipes.

Through detailed High Definition photographs, clear and concise text this book gives you the information you need to enjoy these plants in your normal diet, with things you already eat. To make things even better in the back of the book is a detailed nutritional chart, giving you nutritional information on most of the plants covered as well as several domesticated greens for comparison.

I highly recommend this book for anyone really wanting to get into eating wild plants on a more normal basis.
