So, in the year 2024, around 2,28,000 aspirants gave NEET PG.
But according to reports, there are only around 64,000 PG seats in India.

So, does this mean that USMLE is easier than NEET PG?
Well, this statistic in its raw form does suggest that getting a PG seat through NEET PG is considerably tougher, but it fails to take into account the difficulty level of the USMLE and also the quality of competition.
You might be competing against fewer number of people in USMLE, but let's not forget that these are some of the smartest and the richest people in the society around the world.

Thus, in my opinion, these factors make USMLE a completely different ball game and significantly harder than NEET PG.
