Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced a significant increase in Russia’s production of the most in-demand categories of weapons since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Speaking on Friday during a meeting focused on the development of Russia’s defense industry over the next decade, Putin said that by 2025, weapons production for what Moscow calls the “special military operation” has increased several times compared to 2022.
