Further Than Fitness TV!: Episode 35 | MY TRAINER TRAINS ME

In today's episode, my trainer from back in the day, Bennie Heard, a 2-time USA Gold medal champion boxer, gives me a workout - I haven't been trained by him in a long time, and it was awesome to get my gloves back on!

There is a deeper story to this episode, though:

I had a good friend bring Bennie out from Atlanta to see if he could possibly work with me as a trainer - to get back to doing what he does best, trying and inspiring, motivating and giving people everything they could want in a trainer.

I thought it might work out, but Bennie is fighting an alcohol addiction, and in the end, the alcohol won the fight.

Bennie is still alive, but he's not coming to California to work with me. It makes me really sad to know that we had the opportunity to work together again, but it just isn't the time. God willing, I will see Bennie again and it will be in different circumstances.

Watch the whole video for some insight to this, and to watch me sweat!! The workout wasn't as hard as it could have been, but it was fun to work with Bennie again, even if just for one workout.

Bennie will always be my champ!
