I LOVE This Ultralight Rig When The Water Is Cold!

I hit this body of water a couple times in the winter/spring transition with limited success before deciding to take a different approach in search of redemption... On this particular day, I decided to rig up an ultralight slip float rig to ensure I slowed down and kept my bait in the strike zone. It was definitely worth it!

The ultralight slip float rig is excellent all year long, but especially when the water temperature is cold and fish are inactive.
