Why I Left New York City

Hello, my fishy friends! Chef David Bouhadana here to share with you Why I Left New York City.

While there are many reasons why I chose to leave New York City (policies, regulations, taxes, real estate, closures, lifestyle, etc...) in the midst of the pandemic, the most important one was for the opportunity.

Right now is the best time to grab a commercial space for your retail or e-commerce business at a steal due to the sinking commercial real estate prices (which is exactly what I did). I was able to get a turnkey restaurant space for a fraction of what I would pay in New York City, and am able to operate safely due to Florida's current policies.

I'll take you through my journey and thought process on leaving New York City to come back to Florida where I grew up, and opening up Sunset Sushi.
