Two announcements made headlines today. One came from Rashtrapati Bhavan, the other from #Karnataka. The announcement from the Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning, notifying the shifting of cabinet minister #KirenRijiju from the Union law ministry to the Ministry of Earth Sciences is a huge surprise primarily because of its timing.
The other - from Karnataka - came from Congress party. Congress has announced the name of Siddaramaiah for the post of Chief Minister. He will take oath as the Chief Minister on 20th May. And, DK Shivakumar will become Sidda's deputy. After three days of running from Bangalore to Delhi, the curtain finally fell on the picture of Karnataka; but the story behind the scenes is not at all what is being told.
