Scrap wood bow

There is so much scrap wood and odd cut-offs left in the shop that I often wonder what to do with all of it... Sure I could spend time making smaller projects, or just burn it in the fireplace in the winter, but mostly, I think about how to turn good materials into bows... Watch here as I take a long Hickory edge cut that is useless for making a bow, and with the aid of a White Oak Backing strip, turn it into a viable bow blank ready to be tillered into a first-rate flat bow.
