Worlds first Pacifist speedrun for Torchlight II (

For those unfamiliar with Pacifist runs, a similar concept exists for some other games, including Diablo 2 (where it originated as Thorns-only type of run initially). Basis for this is not doing any direct damage, monsters must initiate action, then damage is returned via reflection. Summons and similar skills cannot be used.

There is noticeable audio crackling in some parts, so you might turn audio down as a precaution. I’m still trying to figure OBS out.

Berserker seems like the best option for this category. Rage Retaliation fits the Pacifist bill and at the same time improves damage significantly (at least at level 14, when it is unlocked first). Embermage with Prismatic Rift looks good on paper, but most bosses have high resistance to teleport effects, making this skill not that useful.

Patch 1.9.5.1 of the Torchlight II was used - most popular version for speedrunning due to some glitches that were later patched. Game difficulty was set to Casual - also the most popular category for speedrunning.

First attempt ended up at around 9 hours in, at Alchemist due to glitch. First finished run took about 6 hours. By figuring some ins and outs, I was able to quickly bring the run close to 4 hours. This is when I started recording attempts and ended up with this run: "3:26 In-Game Time". I now believe a sub 3 hours run is possible.
