Supply Chain Management in Contract Manufacturing

At RiverSide Integrated Solutions, our partners only have to manage one part number for the finished product, instead of having to manage all sub-tier part numbers. This lowers the overhead costs in terms of human capital to manage suppliers and actual capital to have those items on hand. For one recent client, we were even able to offset their inventory levels until they were ready to send their product to the end user.

We Work with All Industries

We do everything from handling nuts and bolts for mechanical builds to working with clients on sourcing processors and everything electrical.

From a supply chain management standpoint, we work with a variety of different industries doing everything from custom metal solutions, circuit board solutions, packaging solutions, as well as all of the big distributors.

Our “Just in Time” Procurement System

People overlook amount of time needed for successful supply chains. This is a tremendous workload. And with our systems in place, we can manage having many customers and product builds seamlessly.

We are able to hold them at our location instead of customers holding them on the books at their own facilities. In terms of scheduling, we are able to look at our forecasts, enter project details into our system, and then populate schedules of the most efficient time to buy supplies so that they are on-hand and ready to go.

We Leverage Our Supplier Relationships to Get You the Best Deals

We are also able to find the best parts and all of the most cost-effective parts for our customers. That’s because we have longstanding relationships in metal fab, hardware, and so much more. That allows us to leverage our relationships with the volume that we buy in order to get the best prices.

We Keep Our Clients on Schedule

A lot of what we’re seeing from customers on allocations is that the customers with the longest-standing relationships and highest levels of volume get preferred delivery. That means if you don’t have those long-standing relationships, your orders will get delayed and pushed towards the back of the line. You’ll be given a date one to two months in the future and you have to hope that those are the dates they can actually deliver.

We’re able to provide relief to our end customer by managing the supply chain piece for them. That’s just one of the many benefits you get when you come to RiverSide.
