This is one method of removing gloss overpaint from your rocking horse, without damaging the original paint underneath.

This method will only work for a thin coat of gloss paint and only if the gesso is stable.

Always test on an inconspicuous place such as under the belly to see if it is going to work first.

Every horse is different as paints vary so much.
