The answer to that is, you should always go for epoxy grouting between the two tiles, especially in the bathroom. Conversely, if you opt for normal grouting, it will crack after some time due to the excessive water exposure in the bathroom. Once it cracks, water will seep through these cracks, causing damage. Another drawback is that cement-based grouting, which is the regular kind, is more prone to staining. This means it gets dirty quite quickly and doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. Therefore, for a bathroom, it's always recommended to use epoxy grouting."
