The 991-series Carrera S comes fitted with the rear mounted 3.8 litre flat six engine that produces 400bhp and propels the rear wheel drive supercar to 60mph in under 3.9 seconds (thanks to the PDK gearbox combined with the optional Sport Chrono Plus Package) and on to a 188mph top speed. The 991 generation 1 cars do not suffer all of the problems of later 991 gen 2 cars, such as turbo/oil supply failures, or earlier 997 generation 1 cars, including IMS bearing failures, RMS leaks and Borescoring, all of these issues were eradicated by Porsche when they designed the all-new direct fuel injection (DFI) naturally aspirated 911 engines.
The 911 Carrera S has a full Official Porsche Centre (OPC) and Porsche Specialist Service History, with invoices and the fully stamped original service book. The last major service was carried out by PorschaCare Porsche Specialist on 18 February 2022 at 53,374 miles, including all filters, new auxiliary drive belt and brake fluid change. The next service is due in 20,000 miles or February 2024, whichever comes sooner. Total mileage is 53,381 miles and it was first registered December 2011, making it a 2012 Model Year Launch Edition. We sold this car to the last owner in October 2020.
