Optical metrology is a fast and contactless measuring method that can be used to efficiently control production processes and continuously monitor the quality of components. The measurement with camera systems creates a detailed, digital image of the entire measurement object and can be used for various analyses such as nominal/actual comparisons, for determining shape and position tolerances, for reverse engineering and many other issues.
