What is Piston Steering ? How is it done ? Using the technique on a Diesel Crank w/ larger journals

Описание к видео What is Piston Steering ? How is it done ? Using the technique on a Diesel Crank w/ larger journals

How to use a crank with a wider rod journal than rod ?

You use the Piston Steering technique.

Using this technique you can use a 2.3L Diesel crank, w/ custom rods and pistons for a upgrade in displacement.

This method works well for race motors that often get torn back down regularly. Using it on a street motor is not recommended due to the stress and wear on the rings which can lead to blow by within a few hundred miles of hard use, especailly if you don't use a thicker head gasket.
