You can use your smartphone as a Light Meter & expose your videos & photos easily. Apps like Light Meter & Lumu Light Meter use the sensor in smartphone cameras & can work like Reflective Light Meters.
This video will show you how to use the free version of both these aforementioned apps. I show you the process for both, any Android phone & any iPhone.
You can set lighting according to the Aperture, Shutter Speed & ISO settings that you want. These Apps will help you meter your exposure to the exposure triangle values that you want.
