Maritess (Kris Bernal) and Steve (Polo Ravales) had a brief relationship before, wherein they had a son whom they left in the Philippines. When they crossed each other's paths again, they soon got married but Maritess never felt the deep regret in her life when she found out that her husband is a masochist.
