Welcome back to Storytelling in Pathfinder 2e - a series where we are working our way through the Game Mastery Guide to study the art of Storytelling in Pathfinder 2e. This series is intended for storytellers of all skill levels from beginners to veteran & I even hope that some of these topics will be helpful for storytellers in other game systems (as you can often learn something about your game by studying others).

Today, we're going to be talking about Bypassing & Ending Encounters! A lot of planning & thought goes into designing encounters, but sometimes we don't give as much attention to how an encounter will end. In this video, we'll examine some of the ways an encounter can play out - and the implications it might have for our stories.

We'll also talk about flexibility in reacting to different endings & the thought process that comes in preparing for multiple possible outcomes.
