How to Fill RC CVA Oil Shocks With No Air Bubbles! Simple No-Cost Tip!

Описание к видео How to Fill RC CVA Oil Shocks With No Air Bubbles! Simple No-Cost Tip!

I was building my Tamiya RC DT03 CVA oil shocks the other day, and thought of a way of filling them with oil without getting air bubbles or trapped air behind the shock piston. It's such a simple little RC building trick that costs nothing - so I thought I would share it with you. I hope you find it helpful.

It turns out that the rebound (or the piston being pushed back down after compressing the shock with no spring fitted) can also be caused by the rubber seal, or diaphragm in the top cap). This is because there is air trapped in the dome shape of the diaphragm. You can prevent this if needed, by fitting the top cap with the piston fully pushed in. Many thanks to "radio control uk" for the info! :)

Happy RC building!
