Starting with React Native .62, Flipper is the default debugging experience for React Native Developers. Flipper is a platform for debugging plugins and ships with some common and useful plugins to make development easier. Flipper comes integrated with Create React App so most of the hard work is done for you.

In this show, we talked with Zain Sajjad and Shannon Hicks. Zain performed a demonstration of Flipper debugging features covering elements like layout inspection, network call inspection, doctor, configuration, and log watching and filtering. One of our favorite features in Flipper is the built-in support to take screenshots and screen capture videos – helpful for communicating system behavior to developers, QA, users, and other stakeholders.
