Cyclone Jasper: winds batter far north Queensland as tropical cyclone approaches

Tropical Cyclone Jasper has intensified into a category 2 system and is producing damaging wind gusts that will increase as it approaches the north Queensland coast. Authorities are warning of flash flooding and destructive winds of up to 140km/hr.
