Deputy Prime Minister, Santia Bradshaw is hopeful the contributions of late Parliamentarian, Dr. Denis Lowe, could be documented in the form of a book.

Ms. Bradshaw expressed the wish as the House of Assembly today paid tribute to the former Minister of Environment and Drainage.

He died on September 16 last year at the age of 64.

Present in the House for the tributes were Dr. Lowe's brother Anthony, sisters Wendy, Sherry-Ann, Heather and Catherine as well as other relatives.

He was described by the Deputy Prime Minister as a passionate individual, who came from humble beginnings, overcame obstacles early in life and came to public life to serve the people.

Having learned that Dr. Lowe was keen on doing a memoir before his death, Ms. Bradshaw lamented the fact that it never became a reality.

Meanwhile, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kerrie Symmonds, remembers Dr. Lowe as a dedicated Minister of the Environment, who highlighted several issues even before they became obvious.

In his tribute, Minister of Home Affairs and Information, Wilfred Abrahams, says Dr. Lowe taught him many things, including the importance of studying your opponent.

Dr. Lowe lost the Christ Church East seat to Mr. Abrahams in the 2018 general election.
