.:: Cute Little Leopard Cub.
A female leopard was hunting an impala for a few minutes before giving up and walking into the apple leaf bushes. She had been pregnant, but 7 weeks ago she looked no longer pregnant which implied she had a child somewhere.
This tiny 7-8 week old leopard cub jumped out of its invisible perch where it had been resting to cautiously approach its mother and made us look suspicious as it did so but confident in its mother's relaxed posture. . We were the first vehicle he saw and the first people to see him.
For over an hour we sat in silence, watching the incredible interaction and loving bond between mother and calf as she first nursed and then, grew confident in our presence with great joy. It flies towards its mother and attacks her tail and face, jumping over small bushes and promptly falling while mother patiently watches knowing that all play is vital to this little guy's survival.
