DAY 3 OKINAWA🇯🇵 | Meeting 29ish-Year-Old Whale Shark, Exploring Shuri Castle & Culture Museum | Vlog

Woah! A BIG beautiful whale shark right about my age! It’s day 3 of our trip to Japan’s southernmost prefecture, Okinawa! Often called the “Hawaii of Japan,” Okinawa is a tropical paradise filled with Japan’s most beautiful beaches and cultural sites, including castles, shrines and recreations of native Okinawan villages.

On our final day and ½, we’ll visit the Native Okinawan Village, Oceanic Culture Museum (Planetarium), and one of the biggest and best aquariums in the world, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium! We’re on the lookout for a big, beautiful whale shark…🐋 That'll surely work up our appetite for some Okinawan "sata andagi" doughnuts and salt vanilla, sweet potato ice cream!

We’ll also drop by Shuri Castle (首里城, Shurijo) before running off to the airport and heading back home to Tokyo.
