A timetable is a basic time management tool consisting of a list of times in which possible tasks, events, or actions are intended to take place. Although it’s immensely useful, for example, for school, a timetable is usually created in a simple word processor or spreadsheet. However there’s a web application that is stored in the Cloud called “Timetable Web” that allows any user to create a timetable in a very simple way.

Step # 1 - Visit Timetableweb.com

First of all, open your browser and go to: “www.timetableweb.com”

Step # 2 - Create your account

You will need to create a new account to use this app. To do this go to the right side of the web page and click on the “Sign up” button. Next, you will have to complete a basic form that asks for your name, email and different functions. Once you're done click “Send”.

To activate your account, go to your email address, open the mail from “Timetableweb” (you’ll find your username and password) and click on the activation link. After this, you’ll be able to log in to your account.

Step # 3 - Navigate through your Dashboard

After creating an account, you’ll be presented with your main dashboard. To the left side you’ll find a bar that allows you to navigate to the different editing sections, so you can complete them in the best way for you.

Step # 4 - Create the classes

For example, if you click on the “Classes” button you can add classes and name them and add the number of weekly periods. You can keep adding classes or split them.

Step # 5 - Add information about the teachers

You can also enter information about the teachers of your institution, by clicking on the “Teachers” button and entering their last name and first name. You can also add a subject, the number of weekly periods and an email. Timetable Web also lets you update information previously entered.

Step # 6 - Add the lessons

The Lessons page is where you split all the lessons for the classes into the total number of periods allocated for a week. To work on this, click on the “Lessons” button. You can create the entries by class or teacher. Let’s set it up by class, as an example. Pick one class and press “Configure Class Lesson”.

Then click the “Add lesson” button. Once you’re done completing the information, press “Add”. Timetable Web automatically highlights incorrect information, such as conflicts, in red--to help you rectify it.

Step # 7 - Create the timetable

Finally, when you’re finished with all the information related to classes, teachers and lessons, you can create your timetable. To do this, go to the upper side of the web page and click on the “Timetable” tab. You can create the timetable automatically or manually. Let’s press the “Timetable automatic generation” button.

Now you’ll see your Timetable created.
