Secret Tunnels Under Vimy - Vimy Underground - History Documentary

Near the site of the famous Battle of Vimy Ridge, an underground cavern is discovered, abandoned and filled with garbage. It is called “Maison Blanche”. During World War I, it had been the refuge for thousands of Canadian and British soldiers. After clearing out the debris, the excavation team entered a world little changed from the end of the war. A time capsule. Incredibly, inscribed on walls are the carvings and writings of countless soldiers who passed through there.
