Ukrainians use a LANDMINE to clear Russian trenches amid bitter battles in the Serebryansky Forest

Ukrainian troops of the 81st Brigade used a landmine rigged with a fuse to obliterate a Russian trench during fighting near the Serebryanky Forest. Intense footage shows a soldier lighting the makeshift explosive device before tossing it down a hole and into a Russian dugout where troops are. The Ukrainian run to safety before a huge blast rips the trench apart. It comes amid bitter battles in and around the Serebryansky Forest, where Putin’s armies have been trying to advance since the start of the year. More footage taken by the Scuta Company of the Azov special battalion shows a compilation of heavy gun battles for control of Russian trenches in the same region, whilst even more video shows how Belgian volunteers fighting for Ukraine’s 35th Brigade defended their foxholes against an attack by Putin’s forces, as they tried and failed to advance. The Serebryansky Forest stand between the cities of Severeodonetsk and Lysychansk - which are occupied by the Russians - and the nearby cities of Slovyansk and Kramatorsk which the Ukrainian are defending. Capturing Slovyansk and Kramatorsk is a key objective to Putin’s goal of conquering the entirety of the Donbas region. #russia #ukraine #war
