After byuing tons of Hardware (Synths, Drummachines, FX Pedals, Sequencers etc.) I found out, that for me, as a player, the ModX is what i always wanted. It gives me the freedom to play bass, chords and melodies, while at the same time being able to perform complex song or jam structures, in which you can have the sonic versatility of the synth world and the formal complexity of song orientated music. I enjoy it a lot ;)

Also it doesn't fill up your room and you don't have the setting-up time that can easily kill your creativity, sometimes resulting from setups with multiple hardware instruments.
