Ingredients :

Puffed rice -3 cups
Peanuts- ¼ cup
Roasted gram dal/split gram - ⅛ cup
Crushed garlic with skin - 3 pods
Red chillies - 2
Curry leafs - 1 stem
Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
Chilli powder- ½ tsp
Salt - ¼ tsp
Oil - 5 tsp
Procedure :

Step 1:Heat a pan, add 5 tsp of oil then add ¼ cup of peanuts and fry on low flame until it cracks/splits the peanuts.Then drain off oil and keep roasted nuts in a bowl.
Step 2:In the same oil add ⅛ cup of roasted dal and fry for about 1 minutes.Keep aside in a bowl.
Step 3:In the same oil add crushed garlic, curry leafs stir once.Then add redchillies by breaking into halves.
Step 4:Now add ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ½ tsp of chilli powder and ¼ tsp of salt mix well then add 3 cups puffed rice.
Step 5: Mix well until it combines well with spices and fry about 1 minute until the puffed rice becomes crisp and to coat all the spices to the puffed rice.
Step 6: Now add roasted dal and mix well and then serve.
Step 7:This can be store upto 2 weeks with same freshness in ziplock bag.
