Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Описание к видео Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae - UNESCO World Heritage Site

The Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae is a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site in Greece. A large temple dedicated to Apollo in a remote mountainous area of the Peloponnese, it dates to just after the Parthenon in Athens and may have even been built by the same architect! It's got some intriguing architectural details which are well worth a look, so let's check it out!

Unfortunately for us, we visited on a day that mini-hurricane was sweeping across the eastern Mediterranean so filming was rather difficult - apologies!
