when the default password of 456 isn't working, you may need to do a complete factory reset.

This video concisely lays out that process.

The Polycom (now ‪@PolyCompany‬ ) family of new VVX phones (150, 250, 350, 450) can be factory defaulted so the original password of 456 will work again.

Additionally, in newer versions of the software (6.4+) the phone prompts for the password to be changed again at when it's fully booted up (after the factory reset).
