Iron Maiden - Strange World - (First version recorded in 1979) - R.I.P Paul Di’Anno (1958 – 2024)

This is my personal tribute to Paul Di'Anno, the singer of the first two Iron Maiden albums. This version of "Strange World" was originally recorded in 1979, with Paul Di'Anno on vocals, before the release of their self-titled debut album in 1980. These recordings are famous because they were the band's first professional demos and significantly contributed to their early success in the British heavy metal scene. However, "Strange World" was not included in the original release of the "Soundhouse Tapes," but became available later through compilations like "Best of the Beast."

The version included in "Best of the Beast" is therefore a rarity, allowing listeners to hear one of the band's early tracks, characterized by a raw and authentic style, typical of their very first recordings
