On the way to the Old Government House where the swearing in took place, PUP’s Party Leader, John Briceno led a small group to the Lord Ridge Cemetery.  At the gravesite of the Right Honorable George Cadle Price, wreaths were laid and a brief homage was delivered by the PUP Chairman, Henry Usher.  

Prime Minister Briceno, who will turn 65 in July, was first elected into the House of Representatives some 32 years ago under the PUP leadership of the Right Honorable Price.  Since his entry into national electoral politics in 1993 for Orange Walk Central, he has maintained the Area Representative position despite the many opponents.
